The State Services Commission has commenced an independent review of the Earthquake Commission's (EQC) handling of a customer satisfaction survey, the information EQC provided on the survey's results and EQC's processes for ensuring the accuracy of information provided to the Minister Responsible for the Earthquake Commission.
Souella Cumming has been appointed as the lead reviewer. Ms Cumming is a partner at KPMG with specialist expertise in governance, risk management and internal audit. Secretarial support will be provided by the State Services Commission.
The review was requested by the Minister Responsible for the Earthquake Commission, Hon Gerry Brownlee.
