Since its inception in 2017, Oranga Tamariki has led the transformation of the vulnerable children’s system to put the child in the centre by investing early in tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau, delivering improved outcomes through to adulthood. To achieve this, we are looking for a highly skilled leader who must be experienced and proficient in the following areas: leadership at the Māori-Crown interface; large-scale organisational leadership; leadership across the wider child welfare system; management of organisational context.
