This document provides Public Service and public sector agencies with easy access to information sources they may consider when developing or reviewing their workforce strategies and implementing those strategies through workforce policies or bargaining.
This Worker Wellness Resource Kit has been put together by the State Services Commission with assistance from the Public Service Association, Worksafe New Zealand and MBIE as part of the Health and Safety Cross-sector Programme. This programme aims to support agencies' readiness for the implementation of the new Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
You can use it to:
- search for planning tools and resources to help develop, implement or evaluate an agency wellness programme
- access free information including helpful guides and articles
- view practical resources on all aspects of workplace wellness, including workplace stress
- find relevant websites for further information and resources.
This kit is intended to be a useful resource and is not prescriptive. The particular resources will be more or less relevant for each agency depending on the health and safety risks for its workers while at work and the scope of its human resources policies.
